Online banking

It has come to our attention that a small number of customers have encountered a fraudulent screen which appears while trying to log into their AIB Internet Banking service. This screen requests customers to key in full registration number, PAC (Personal Access Code), Mobile Phone number and Visa card number. This is NOT an AIB screen it is a fraudulent attempt to obtain your personal details. If you see this screen appearing, or any other unusual screen asking you for personal details, DO NOT ENTER ANY DETAILS.

Please note that when logging into the AIB Internet Banking website you are asked first for your registration number and AIB will never ask you for your full PAC number.

This attempted fraud is caused by a Virus, which installs rogue software on a customer's computer/PC and then presents a fraudulent screen asking for personal details. Only customer's who have this Virus on their PC's will be affected, and unfortunately, AIB cannot detect which customers have been affected.

Je hoort en leest wel redelijk wat over pishing enzo maar toen ik dit bericht zag bij het inloggen voor online banking moest ik toch effe slikken. Toch maar terug papieren overschrijvingskes bij de bank gaan deponeren?
